Job Description:

  • Assisting in the operation and maintenance of main engine and auxiliary machinery
  • Monitoring engine room systems and reporting any abnormalities
  • Carrying out planned maintenance and routine inspections
  • Maintaining pumps, compressors, generators, and other mechanical equipment
  • Ensuring proper lubrication, fuel systems, and engine performance
  • Keeping accurate maintenance records and engine logbooks
  • Supporting safety procedures and emergency operations onboard
  • Assisting the Chief Engineer and Second Engineer in daily tasks

Qualifications:

  • Valid 3rd Engineer license (COC)
  • Seagoing experience in the same rank
  • Complete STCW certificates
  • Good English communication skills
  • Fit for sea duty
