About the Role:
This role involves supporting daily deck activities on a chemical tanker vessel, including basic maintenance and operational tasks, while working as part of a professional crew.
Job Description:
- Assist in mooring and unmooring operations
- Support cargo handling and tank cleaning operations on chemical tanker vessels
- Perform routine maintenance such as chipping, painting, and cleaning deck areas
- Help maintain safety equipment and deck machinery in good condition
- Follow all safety procedures and environmental regulations
- Assist during emergency drills and safety operations
- Carry out instructions from Bosun and Deck Officers
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the vessel
Qualifications:
- Valid Seaman’s Book & STCW certificates
- Physically fit and medically cleared
- Basic deck experience preferred
- Able to communicate in English
- Willing to work onboard a chemical tanker vessel
