Requirement	Legally authorized to work in the United States. Passport. Willing and able (with or without a reasonable accommodation) to: - To be away from home for periods in excess of two months - Push/pull up to 40 pounds - Lift/carry up to 100 pounds floor to shoulder - Lift up to 25 pounds floor to overhead - Work overtime up to 4 hours a day - Perform 3 or more hours of washing pots and pans each shift, as well as mopping floors - Climb Stairs - Stand for long periods of time Merchant Mariners Document (Z-card). Transportation Workers Identification Card (TWIC). Preferred: Associates degree in culinary arts from an accredited institution. 3+ years direct experience in institutional food preparation. Completion of sanitation class. Completion of basic safety class. Previous experience sailing on tanker/ship .  Ability to clearly follow instructions, both written and verbal. Ability to apply common sense to achieve the desired outcomes according to the company’s operating procedures and safety protocols. Organized, efficient and a methodical problem solverv.
